With a redesigned ventilation scheme built for an upright riding position (think GS, V-Strom, KTM Adventure), the Shoei Qwest is 1.2 dB quieter than the RF-1100 when riding at highway speeds. It has a slightly rounder shape than the RF-1100 to accommodate more riders and allow plenty of space for a bluetooth communicator system. It features all of the technological innovations of the RF-1100 & X-12 including the AIM+ shell and the CW-1 visor with QRSA system.
