VLOG 63- In this vlog, we leave our camping spot near Siliguri and drive towards Mirik, a planned hill station in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal. The road takes us through vast tea estates, stretching across acres of land, quiet roads cutting through plantations, and small villages along the way. This season is about harvesting and recovery, so the tea gardens aren’t at their greenest, but the landscape still feels calm, open, and beautiful. We spend most of our day near Mirik Lake, sitting quietly, watching life slow down. Later, we begin our drive towards Darjeeling, as the journey to Sikkim and the North East slowly starts to feel real. Before the day ends, we find a simple camping spot beside the road, right in the middle of tea estates. Dinner is light, the night is silent, and the road rests with us.
