"What Are You Guys Doing? You're Scaring Some Of Our Customers"

Today's installment brings us to the public sidewalk outside some of the establishments in the L.A. area. As we made our way down the sidewalk we ended up outside this coffee shop , as I continued to record those coming & going (capturing life in the moment) After a few minutes of recording , we were approached by two employees from the coffee shop. They wanted to know what we were doing & claimed we were scaring their customers. When I asked if they could elaborate on how we were supposedly scaring customers, the female employee said because we were allegedly talking to people. She then said they would be calling police, as they turned around & made their way back inside. After re-entering the establishment, they locked the doors, while customers were still inside. I imagine that would be a fire safety violation in regards to locking the doors to the business during business hours. The doors remained locked for a good 5 to almost 10 minutes as more customers began waiting outside to enter. They finally came to unlock the door so folks could enter & leave. A couple of people who were on the patio took issues with our recording as well, but it was a brief encounter with each of them. We continued to record outside, waiting for police to show up.
