Snowy Hike on the Bruce Trail - Eugenia Falls to Ravenna

This was the last section of the Bruce Trail I had left in order to finish it off End-to-End. There were no open campsites here when I hiked this section in 2018 and so I skipped it originally. This time around there still aren't any campgrounds around so I had to hike this section in one day. Normally this is doable for me so that wasn't a big deal. The fact that I was going solo created a problem though. I had to get back to my car somehow after hiking the trail. Normally Uber is helpful in this situation, but it seemed unreliable on this section of trail that is far away from most bigger cities. So I decided to road walk back, making the day at least 60 km in total. About half way through the day I realized the snow was slowing me down substantially, and there was no way I'd be able to get back to my car before dark. After completing the trail just as the sun set, I got cold fast; and so did my phone. It went down to 1% almost instantly as I tried desperately for an Uber to pick me up, with no luck. Now, with my phone about to die, I have no way to navigate back to my car even if I wanted to (I am not family with the area). I tried hitch hiking for about an hour, then gave Uber one last chance and this time it worked! I got picked up, a little hypothermic, and got back to my car thinking about how stupid I am. Another trail in the books!
