Theodors travels motovlog. This short series is about some sightseeing points in Saaremaa. In this episode I find another sauna stove stone of Tõll and Mustjala Anna Church. Then I go and visit statues of Piret and Tõll, the folklore hero couple, of Saaremaa. Suur Tõll was the folklore hero of Saaremaa. According to the legend he was a strong giant, protecting his people from the enemy. He loved eating cabbages and was able to walk across the island in one long stride. He had a wife called Piret. St. Anna’s Church in Mustjala is named after the wife of the Danish Vice-Governor, Anna Shestedt. In 1605, she built a chapel, which was later, in 19'th century, rebuilt into a church. The high church tower used to be a beacon for sailors. Nowadays the church is also known for hosting Mustjala music days. Saaremaa is Estonias largest and most populous island. It is the main island of the West Estonian archipelago (Moonsund archipelago), it is located in the Baltic Sea, south of Hiiumaa island and northwest of the Gulf of Riga. The administrative center of the island, and of the Saare maakond (county), is the town of Kuressaare. I ride a Honda GL1500C Valkyrie from 1997, with custom paint. I have owned this bike for 8 years now and can vouch for its comfort and reliability, after riding over 72 000km (45 000 miles) on it. Video was recorded with Garmin Virb Ultra 30 as my helmet camera, and Huawei P30 Pro as off bike camera, edited with Kdenlive version 24. 00:00 Days most difficult word 00:42 Another sauna stove stone 03:22 More mythical figures to come 04:22 Mustjala Anna Church 06:05 Tõll and Piret
