Catfruit, Catseyes, XP, Sprockets, and Rare Tickets are all excellent progression material for Pre-UL players. Additionally, beating Floor 40 will unlock the Infernal Tower. The first 20 (really 21) Floors of the Infernal Tower yield tons of Catseyes, Catamins, and Building Materials, while still being easily beatable Pre-UL. You'll be rewarded handsomely for going all the way, trust me. Note: Because this is a Pre-UL guide, I try to use only a minimal amount of necessary gacha units, because it is entirely possible that a player doesn't have a needed unit and subsequently gets stuck on a Floor. This may result in one of my normal guides being difficult or inconsistent to replicate for the casual player. So as compensation, i've included a few sub-in recommendations for gacha units or otherwise that perform better on a given Floor. Regardless, some gacha units are still mandatory for the better part of these floors (in this case, Octo, Ramen, Necro-dancer and Catasaurus), so if you don't have them, tough luck. Lastly, the Floor 27 cheese, Floor 28, Floor 32, and Floor 33 strategies have some variance depending on your tech levels. If your efficiency and accounting (and skill) levels are low, you may have to use a Rich Cat.
