Nsibidi was a sophisticated communication system that was developed in Africa before major external influences on Africa. It was an ancient system of graphic communication indigenous to some diverse peoples in the southeastern Nigeria and parts of the South Western Cameron. This communication system was not linked to any language but was made up of over 1000 symptoms with refined meanings that are used to communicate.
