I visited in mid-summer when the flowers were at their peak, and I’d definitely recommend going in the morning or late afternoon for the best light. There are no facilities, so bring some water and be ready for a simple countryside stroll. For me, it wasn’t just about the sunflowers—it was about the serenity of the place and the care behind it, and if you’re lucky, that perfect, postcard-worthy view of Mt. Fuji.
