The long-awaited Sydney Metro City & Southwest Line has officially opened to the public today (19 August 2024). This 15.5 km line includes 8 stations: Chatswood, Crows Nest, Victoria Cross, Barangaroo, Martin Place, Gadigal, Central, Waterloo, and Sydenham. With driverless metro trains and stunning new stations in the city, this is truly a world-class metro line.
