The evening ended at Lover’s Bridge, just in time for sunset, it did not disappoint. Tamsui (also spelled Danshui) has a long history as a major trading port during the 19th century when Taiwan opened to foreign commerce. The area reflects a mix of Indigenous heritage, Qing Dynasty development, and European influence.
