This striking work by @EleanorBrimblecombe was inspired by Emma Lindsay's 'Extinction Flock' paintings from 2017. These are a series of paintings of extinct Australian birds, presented starkly as they appeared as museum specimens. I think this is one of the most profound pieces of music that I've ever recorded. It gives the feeling of walking through an austere museum, hearing the plaintive calls of long-extinct species. These calls build into a cacophonous choir, creating a passionately emotive wall of sound!
