Today I am bringing you the 1.16 Nether Mobs+ data pack for the 1.16 nether update. This pack adds 4 awesome new mobs who each have their own unique mechanics and custom drops, a new mob with multiple attacks which you have to learn to fight against, a special weapon with 3 modes, a buildable structure with the new blocks which gives the player effects similar to a beacon, and other new items. Skills Used: Custom Items: All the items have special tags which allow them to be detected by commands. Check out my 3 part series here:    • Easily Create ANY Custom Item PT1 || ...   Right Click Detection: Detecting right clicks is fairly simple by using a few scoreboard commands and carrots on sticks. Check out episode 2 of my custom item series. Raycasting: This means to create a straight (or curved) line from the player. Custom Mobs: The mobs all have their own models and abilities, tutorial coming soon. Scoreboard: Scoreboards are an essential skill, but are not too hard to learn. I think Code Zealot and Cloud Wolf have good tutorials for the basics that should still work. Execute: The execute is the most essential command in data pack creation. This controls the detection of entities' nbt data and can detect blocks, with many more functions. Tutorial coming sometime. Custom Food: There are two custom foods in this pack, and there are many ways to implement it. I have a tutorial for a rather easy way to do it:    • Minecraft CUSTOM FOOD || Only 6 Comma...   Particles and Sounds: I used particles and sounds to make all the aspects of the pack feel more polished, and this is pretty easy to figure out from the wiki. A lot of it has to do with experimenting with what feels right.
