⚙️ Trials and Tribulations Bring Triumph and Innovation 💡 It’s been a long and, at times, hair-pulling kind of week — wrestling with ongoing plug failure issues that just wouldn’t quit. But as the saying goes, “In every failure lies a seed of success,” and that’s certainly held true again. After digging deep (and thanks to the amazing amount of information available online), I discovered something that now seems so obvious — plugs have rated amp capacities! Who would’ve thought? 😅 Staying within the 4S 3660 motor P-Limited class, it turns out I was simply pushing the limits of the smaller plugs. The fix? Bigger, better connectors! Along the way, I also stumbled upon an RC electric plane cooling concept that uses positive airflow through the fuselage to keep temps in check. It made perfect sense to adapt that idea to the F1 hull — combining air cooling with the existing water cooling system. And the results? While hard to measure absolutely, common sense (and the temperature readings) tell me that the system is running notably cooler — even just a few degrees makes a big difference when running flat-out for minutes on end. Another bonus: since all the electrics are waterproof, I no longer need to tape up the hatch for every run — so running an open hull is both practical and refreshing! All in all, I’m ending the week on a high. ✅ Very happy with the ENIGMA outboard leg’s performance and endurance ✅ Very happy with the hull’s balance and setup ✅ And finally, confident in a robust, reliable electrical system that can handle sustained high-performance runs Innovation through perseverance — that’s what it’s all about!
