RAF Lakenheath 18 to 20 September 2019

This lot probably wouldn't have made it to video were it not for lockdown, not because its particularly bad footage but more because there's nothing in here that is out of the ordinary. Literally a load of F-15s either taking off, landing or doing some nice low approaches from 3 days in mid September 2019. There were no visitors, deployments or any quirky stuff happening on the base. Plenty of good friendly social banter though to keep the spirits up. We did get a bit of 24 action thankfully on the last day which is much better for them taking off - at the same time you do get some cracking angles when they do low approaches on 06 so I suppose its swings and roundabouts really. Seeing as how this is as close to F-15s I seem to be getting for the foreseeable I decided to put them into a video. The weather was very good during this visit and they did seem to be putting a good show on. It's F-15s at Lakenheath anyway so what's not to love :-)
