In this video I show you an inventory system that is full of hidden items until the player finds them in the world. I made it by designing each menu screen, then covering them with the draw text event. I ran into a problem however with pop-up text overwriting the draw text so I propose a way to overcome that, leading to classic tile replacement issues.
