Raghunandan Panshikar is a distinguished Hindustani classical vocalist, trained in the Jaipur Gharana under the legendary Kishori Amonkar. While rooted in the Jaipur-Atrauli tradition, he has developed a distinct approach to classical singing. A versatile artist, he effortlessly renders semi-classical genres such as Bhajans, Thumris, Ghazals, and Natya Sangeet. Born into a family of Sanskrit scholars and musicians, he inherited a deep cultural legacy. His musical journey began at the age of 11, and under the guidance of Kishori Amonkar and her mother, Mogubai Kurdikar, he refined his craft over two decades. An acclaimed performer, Pt. Panshikar has captivated audiences across India, Europe, the United States, and the Middle East. His contributions to music extend beyond performances, with numerous acclaimed albums and compositions to his name. A recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Smt. Manik Varma Puraskar and the Ramkrishnabua Vaze Puraskar, he continues to leave an indelible mark on the world of Indian classical music.
