Happy December! Today I’m getting in the Christmas spirit with a festive wrecked ring pour, then I add some textured snowflakes with stencils! I love these silicone split cups from Let’s Resin - so easy to use and SO easy to clean! Want to get some of your own? Use code AnnaArt1 to get 10% off! Here they are: https://amzn.to/3FgvuNw (affiliate link) A wrecked ring pour is just a basic tree ring pour that you modify with some sort of tool. I used a chopstick to make some swoops and swirls to add lots of interest! I spun it out on my spinner (modified from a wooden lazy susan) to get the paint to spread uniformly across the edges, but you can easily tilt it with your hands if you don’t have one! My paints are mixed with floetrol (~1:1 floetrol to paint) and then thinned with water. Paint-mixing video is here! • Mixing Paint for Acrylic Pouring - START H... Red (Blickrylic or Apple Barrel) White (Sargent, Apple Barrel, and house paint) Phthalo Green (Blickrylic) Metallic Gold (FolkArt) Flow Extender (Sargent and Apple Barrel, mixed slightly thinner) Pearlessence (Creative Inspirations - straight from tube) Mint Mica (Chameleon Powder from Let’s Resin) Olive Mica (Chameleon Powder from Let’s Resin) Want to try the mica powders? (affiliate link) I got plastic stencils on Amazon and followed @OlgaSoby‘s wonderful technique to get a textured stencil effect using Liquitex gloss gel! I will definitely be doing more of these in the future. Subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss each new video! New tutorials every Monday! Relaxing instrumental videos every Thursday!
