-Vladimir Grigorian is a virtuoso Armenian Kamancha player and artistic director-conductor of popular traditional instrumental ensembles in Armenia and abroad. He is a world-renowned concert soloist and has played for large audiences in The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, Alex, Ford Theaters, and more. -Besides being qualified as an orchestra conductor, lecturer, and being a strong advocate to promote Armenian folk instrumental music, Mr Grigorian is also a member of the Armenian Composers and Theater Arts Union, UNESCO, and a committee for State Radio and Television. He has also collaborated with renowned artists such as Ara Gevorgyan and Vanoush Khnamirian as the dance ensemble/orchestra-director. -Mr.Grigorian is also well known for modifying the Armenian Kamancha, by increasing the width of the instruments bottom part of the neck and improving the instruments bow by making it similar to a violin's. These modifications increased the instruments technicalities.
