This morning, we hosted the Doncaster Mayoral Hustings. The event provided a platform for candidates to share their priorities and plans for Doncaster, followed by a Q&A with local business representatives. The candidates in attendance were: ▪️ David Bettney (Social Democratic Party UK) ▪️ Frank Calladine (British Democrats) ▪️ Nick Fletcher (The Conservative Party) ▪️ Andy Hiles (Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition) ▪️ Ros Jones (The Labour Party) ▪️ Alexander Jones (Reform UK) ▪️ Doug Wright (Health and Social Care) The session was divided into two parts. All candidates began by sharing their vision for Doncaster and its economy. Following a business vote, we then invited the Conservative, Labour, and Reform UK candidates back for a deeper discussion on key issues.
