Its expansion has been rapid, transforming it from a modest beachside area into a sprawling complex offering a wide array of recreational activities, services, gambling establishments, and venues for sports and music. The resort's main feature is its extensive sandy beach, stretching for approximately 8 kilometers along a wide bay. Behind the line of soft sand, a strip of high-rise hotels extends for about 5 kilometers, backing onto the beach itself.
