Permaculture and its design principles can be applied in many ways for many benefits. This presentation will show and tell examples of permaculture applied to a suburban property, a lifestyle, urban infrastructure, and economics, plus some unplanned tangents. About the Presenter Jan Spencer lives in the River Road Neighborhood of Eugene and has been transforming his ¼ acre suburban property for 22 years. The place is a permaculture landmark in the Pacific Northwest. Jan has presented from Coos Bay to MIT, blogs for Mother Earth News, writes and produces a syndicated radio program titled “Creating A Preferred Future” that plays locally on KEPW, 98.7 FM.
