Warm white LED Strip Lights & smart home automation

This renovation/remodelling, by Maggie Walton-Swan Interior Design, uses HDL home-automation to manage LED lights supplied by InStyle. The precut 12-watt LED strips are a warm-white shade (2,700 Kelvin), chosen to add warmth to the house. 125 metres of white LED tape were used. A parallel RGB installation was also fitted, with future-proofing in mind. HDL's home-automation technology controls not only lighting, but also under-floor heating, curtains and blinds, garage doors and the property’s gate entry system. The system is easily controlled via wall-panels and two mounted iPads (one in the kitchen and one on the landing).
