In this Bangkok virtual tour we'll be taking a walk up Sukhumvit soi 24. A street that is lined with hotels, but especially the Davis Hotel. Why? Because the Davis Hotel Starbucks Coffee attracts crowds almost daily for Instagram and TikTok backdrops. Our virtual walk up Sukhumvit soi 24 begins at Rama IV Road where we initially pass by some friendly motorbike taxi drivers and continue on until we then encounter some even more friendly massage ladies. Carrying on with our walk we reach the Davis Hotel which, as expected, is crowded in front of the Starbucks with photographers, aspiring photographers and their aspiring models. Everyone is here for the perfect backdrop to their photos. Mostly for Instagram and TikTok, but you will see a shoot for an independent fashion brand on occasion. After observing the scenes outside of Starbucks we rush across the street and continue our walk towards Sukhumvit Road. We pass by numerous hotels that are becoming busier but not nearly as busy as they were pre-pandemic. Eventually we reach Emporium Shopping Mall and the traffic that you might typically expect in Bangkok where Sukhumvit soi 24 meets Sukhumvit Road under Phrom Phong BTS Station. Here we also catch a nice view of the Bhiraj Tower that rises above Emquartier.
