Compilation of defence footage showing several military departments from European Union member (and European) states. A rapid deployment task force is started in 2003 under the name "EUBG - EU Battlegroup". Each 6-12 months, different EU-memberstates contribute to this force. Not all EU-member states contribute to this force, and some non member states do. At this moment, there is no European Army. Cultural differences between nations are too big to form an united army. EUFOR[1] is subordinate to the European Union Military Staff, and complements other EU military forces such as Eurocorps, the European Gendarmerie Force, European Maritime Force and EU Battlegroups. EUFOR has been used four times so far: in the Republic of Macedonia from March 2003 to December 2003 as EUFOR Concordia, in Bosnia from 2004 as EUFOR Althea, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2006, and in Chad and the Central African Republic since 2007.
