The Wilbert Ovation Interment.

In this video, I go over the interment of a burial vault. For many families, watching the interment process is an important part of the funeral experience that brings a sense of closure and finally to one of the hardest times in our lives, losing a loved one. While some families may witness the interment, other families may move on to the luncheon or repast. It is completely the family's choice of what they would like to see at the conclusion of the committal service. Whether the family is present or not, the internment is done with the utmost respect and care. When this time comes for your family, you may request to view this process with the funeral director. It has come to my attention that some families have been asked to leave the cemetery for this process. If that is the case, please be adamant and give the cemetery crew room to work, but it is your right to watch the interment. Not every cemetery uses the Wilbert Way method for the interment. Some may use heavy equipment such as a Vault cart or a backhoe to lower the vault. In most cases, it's a safety precaution when families are asked to leave.
