This is my 4th or 5th playthrough of elden ring and I’ve finally decided to beat it without summons. Even with summons I’ve struggled on a lot of these late game bosses but never pushed to anger and frustration. I’ve enjoyed this playthrough the most out of any of my playthroughs trying a new weapon type and learning parries and timings. But this fight just completely crushed my spirit and made me so angry and frustrated. Beast clergyman is relatively balanced I think, his combos are fast but learnable but you can’t really react you just have to have the pattern memorised and hope he doesn’t do a switch up in between and the punish windows are somewhat big. Maliketh though is the biggest loser ever. No punish windows. Stupid long combos. Removes a chunk of your health and does damage over time on top. I hate this boss and will probably never play the game through again.
