In this build there are 8, 5oz coils that are arranged like so there are 4, 2,222 turns of 30awg again 5 oz. of 30awg. 1-inch inner diameter and 3/4-inch depth 2-inch outer diameter is the size of the bobbin. then on the same size bobbin you wrap 200 turns of a bifilar coil of 20awg and 28awg again 4 of these at 5 oz and yes5 is a rounding the pick-ups were 4.9 oz a piece and the drive coils are 5.2 oz per so 2222 turns of 30awg is less mass then 200 of 20awg and 28awg but for their purpose they are quite suited and just the right size to do what they are supposed to do, see the drive and the pick-up coils are exactly the same size and mass well with in point 3 of an ounce. perfect... so when a drive coil fires its emf imprint is captured by the pickup coil resulting in a substantial gain in the cap bank the 4 pickups are in series connected to the cap bank and 1st circuit is connected to a battery and the 2nd is connected to the cap bank you have to have a primary circuit to charge the cap bank yes you get some usable energy from the magnets but the bulk comes from the transformer effect. of the primary circuit very cool so far.
