Opening day trip with a mate Leon. We met a guy with similar plans who we hooked up with (Kieran) for opening day and had a blast with Leon leaving early to get back to the office... Sadly jumped by a guy who walked right past our tents (next to the track) and left us only an hours water. We got a couple of nice Browns in the time we had and although i had to also leave early (guiding) Kieran stayed and got into some more. Two examples of what to do and not to do if people are where you'd planned to fish. I have a new mate now to fish with because we were both open minded and talked about our plans - the other schmuck just walked past people he knew were there and ruined their day for self interest, could've stopped and had a chat and made a few new fishing mates, maybe even learned something new.
