Traveling to the biggest indigenous market in South America located in Otavalo Ecuador! Shopping for ponchos and local indigenous goods while testing out our negotiation skills! INSTA: YABOYSEAL TIKTOK: SEALONTOUR This was my first real experience in Ecuador! We took the bus from Quito to Otavalo, a small little town, famous for its markets! The bus was almost two hours and it only costs 2.80$. The main attraction in Otavalo is the artisanal/textile indigenous market in the centre of the city. Here you can find Ponchos, blankets, hippie crystals, incense and so much more. Be prepared to negotiate the price of things because the locals will name their highest price at first! We also went to the local market to find some knock off brands, try some mystery fruits and eat the local cuisine. Only 10 minutes outside of Otavalo is a very pretty waterfall called Peguche! It only costed 0.50$ entry! Climb up on the big rock if you really want to get soaked.
