The video demonstrates a suprachoroidal viscopexy procedure being performed in the office setting. Subconjunctival anesthesia with lidocaine was given, and a transconjunctival injection of 0.6 mL suprachoroidal sodium hyaluronate, 2.3%, was carried out in the location of the break after the injection site was verified internally with indirect ophthalmoscopy. While the viscoelastic was injected by the assistant, a dome-shaped suprachoroidal buckle formed around the injection site. An anterior chamber paracentesis was performed after the injection to restore central retinal artery perfusion. Once the patency of the central retinal artery was confirmed, the patient was discharged and told that normal activities could be resumed immediately without restrictions.
