The video demonstrates a suprachoroidal viscopexy procedure being performed in the office setting. Subconjunctival anesthesia with lidocaine was given, and a transconjunctival injection of 0.6 mL suprachoroidal sodium hyaluronate, 2.3%, was carried out in the location of the break after the injection site was verified internally with indirect ophthalmoscopy. While the viscoelastic was injected by the assistant, a dome-shaped suprachoroidal buckle formed around the injection site. An anterior chamber paracentesis was performed after the injection to restore central retinal artery perfusion.
