Impi is a Catamaran sailing around the world - we have been sailing full time for 7, going on 8 years now. In this episode EP.3 Sailing Tasmania (NOT to be confused with Ep.1, 2, and 3 of our Sailing For The Roaring 40's series), we sail up the Derwant River where we briefly reflect on the racing yachts that struggle in their pursuit of 1st position as they close in on Hobart. We briefly look at the 'race with a twist' as racing yacht Wild Oats competes against racing yacht 'Comanche' .... We arrive in Hobart and for sailors wanting to sail there, we show some of the layout. Whilst we wait for our daughter to arrive, we visit Salamanca Market, Franklin Square and we also meet up with fellow cruising friends, Social Media Friends who become real life friends and more.
