🤗 We Ate Everything on America’s Longest Train Journey Including the Famous Amtrak Steak. We spent 72 hours crossing America by train and decided to eat absolutely everything on board. From breakfast in the dining car to the famous Amtrak steak dinner, this is what food is really like on one of the longest train journeys in the United States. 🇺🇸🥩 Our journey took us from New York City to Los Angeles, travelling across multiple states on a long-distance Amtrak train. Along the way we tried everything the dining car had to offer — omelets, burgers, French toast, coconut shrimp, desserts, and of course the legendary Amtrak steak that passengers talk about.
