I take a Ride on Arriva Redcars VDL SB200 Wright Pulsar 2 1439 NK10CEY in the Frequenta base livery. Considering this has been at Redcar all its life (was previously a frequenta 63 branded bus) and has done so many X4/X4A and X93/X94 duties it still performs great. This is one of the best buses at Redcar it's fast, thrashy and climbs hills well and showed no struggle on Wilton Sliproad unlike other buses I had this week such as 4719. I've got to say Redcar has some really good buses between Redcar & Whitby especially the Pulsars. I was quite surprised to see 1439 on the 63 as it unsurprisingly spends nearly all its time on the X93, X94, X4, X4A duties. Also with some allocations that day I was surprised as 1438 (worn down bus) was on the X4, 2857 (Capacity for X4 is not ideal), 1445 (struggles on hills sometimes and was therefore nearly 20mins late on the X93) I am surprised one of these didn't swap especially as 1445 is common for 63s and 2857 is better suited on it rather than the X4. This was running the 15:33 Frequenta 63 service to Middlesbrough bus station with the legendary Hadyn Longstaff driving.
