Although our original itinerary was ambitious and quickly evolved, the joy of exploration is often found in the unexpected changes. Our adventure kicked off in Minehead, a lovely coastal town with a rich maritime history. From there, we made our way to Porlock, where quaint cottages and stunning views of the Exmoor National Park awaited us. The lush landscapes and rugged coastline were just the start of our journey! As we ventured deeper into Exmoor, we uncovered the natural beauty of Lynmouth Bay and the charming village of Lynton. The dramatic cliffs and moody skies provided the perfect backdrop for photo opportunities that we’ll cherish forever. Next, we headed for Ilfracombe, a delightful harbor town known for its artistic vibe and stunning coastal views. Woolacombe Beach followed, where golden sands and rolling waves made for a perfect afternoon of relaxation and fun in the sun. We even managed to fit in a visit to Putsborough Sands, a hidden gem that offered a quieter beach experience. Our journey continued along the stunning Cornish coastline, with a stop in Perranporth. This beach is famous for its expansive sands and vibrant atmosphere, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
