Prescott Valley Rails: A Giant Model Train World in Arizona (see below for contact information) Prescott Valley Rails is a large, 1200-foot-long track built outside in a side and rear yard in Prescott Valley, Arizona. The whole design mixes the cozy feel of a small American town with the tough, working vibe of the Old West's industries. This outdoor display brings together tiny trains, miniature towns, and technology with fantastic detail. What Makes Up the Railroad? • Three Main Tracks: Three major lines are the core of the railroad. Three sets of rails allow several trains to run through different scenes simultaneously. • Different Neighborhoods: You can see a busy downtown, quiet residential neighborhoods, and a detailed industrial area. Every time you look, you see a new scene that tells its own story, including a brewery and a very unique winemaking facility. • Two point-to-point Tracks: Two more special lines go from one point to another. These are used for smaller routes, like streetcars, freight (cargo) trains, and scenic passenger rides. Awesome Arizona Details As you look around, you'll spot some cool features that make the layout feel like a real Arizona: • A detailed roundhouse where engines park and are repaired, all out in the open air. • Cell phone tower for better cell service in this miniature town • A small but interesting wind farm with a few spinning turbines on the edge of the scene. One of the best whimsical sights is the miniature Brewery. This tiny, handcrafted, odd building represents the local community and all the creativity that went into the project.
