No More Treatment: An Update After the Doctor Visit Yesterday we met with Nancy’s doctors to review the most recent MRI and discuss next steps. After the appointment, it became clear that there are no additional treatment options they can offer. In this update, you’ll see Nancy going to the doctor, followed by a brief moment in the car where we share what we learned. After hearing the news and talking it through together, Nancy made the decision to discontinue using the Optune device and asked me to contact Hospice to help take over her medical care. This update is part of our ongoing journey through GBM brain cancer, caregiving, and navigating difficult medical decisions with faith, clarity, and intention. This was not a rushed or emotional decision. It was calm, thoughtful, and grounded in a desire for comfort, quality of life, and peace. We’re sharing this update to mark an important moment in our journey and to keep those who are walking with us informed.
