South Shore Line (& more) - Drone Shots - 2021

If you've watched many of my videos, it should be obvious how much I enjoy the South Shore, and that is still the case today. With the big changes coming to Michigan City & the elimination of the classic street running, I made a couple of day trips this year specifically to document that area. After 30 years of filming here, it takes some work to find a new shot, but my drone offered up a lot of new possibilities. April 27 2021 1. Train 106 passing the former station on 11th st in Michigan City. 2. Train 108 headed west down 11th st. 3. Train 110 crossing Franklin street. 4. Train 112 on 11th st at Pine st. 5. Train 14 at the S curve on 11th & then making a station stop downtown. 6. Amtrak train 365 crossing the South Shore on 10th st in Michigan City. 7. South Shore train 7 eastbound on 10th between Willard & Chicago streets. 8. Trains 107 & 18 passing the Beverly Shores station. 9. Train 115 on 10th st at Willard. 10. Train 117 at 10th & Sheridan. 11. Train 17 departing the 11th st station and heading east. 12. Train 119 stopping at the 11th st station. July 30 2021 13. Train 114 westbound on 11th street. 14.
