Paka Mosque is an ancient religious monument located in a remote area near the village of Ghazirpar in Ujirpur Upazila, Barisal District. The mosque, approximately 600 years old, is an architectural gem with four minarets and a grand central dome. Despite its historical significance, Paka Mosque is not under the Directorate of Archaeology's protection. A madrasah named Darus Sunnah Hafiziya Madrasah and Orphanage stands beside the mosque, showing the coexistence of religious education and charitable endeavours. Inside the mosque, there are no original designs or vibrant colours remaining, as Abdus Sattar, a key figure in its renovation, had to personally remove and plaster the intricate designs due to financial constraints.
