Can Slow Stitching also be a personal journal? Why not! If you’ve ever kept a diary, sketchbook or art journal, try doing something similar in fabric and stitch. Your scroll can be simple and stitched quickly or it can be a more detailed creation that takes days or weeks to complete. You can add words and dates to your scroll or simply allow it to be about the colours and the stitching. It’s all up to you. FAQ: -I use 2 strands of the six stranded embroidery floss throughout this project -I use Embroidery needles for stitching and -Milliners needles for French Knots Watch to the end to see several examples of my Stitched Journal Scrolls! Slow stitching this way is so relaxing because you don’t have to think about following a complex pattern or worry about your stitches being perfect. It’s all about free flowing relaxing creativity.
