“Delight in This” is a roots reggae declaration drawn from Jeremiah 9:23–26 and 1 Corinthians 1:26–31. The song proclaims that wisdom, strength, and riches are not our boast—knowing Yahweh is. Through steady island rhythm and testimony, the lyrics reflect on being called at nine years old, the faithfulness of God through good days and bad, and biblical moments where the Lord chose the weak—Moses in exile, Hannah’s prayer, Peter’s broken confession, and Nathanael beneath the fig tree. From a full preterist perspective, the Cross finished the work, the adversary no longer binds, and believers now live in confident joy to glorify God.
