Following the sad news of Steve Wright's passing earlier this week I thought I'd upload the Factoids from the last Steve Wright in the Afternoon broadcast on Friday September 30th 2022. These Factoids are about the show itself. Like many others 'The Big Show' was a constant companion to me in the afternoon and was very much missed when it was taken off the air by the BBC. I also have fond memories of growing up with Radio 1 an ever present fixture in our household. When he moved to Radio 2 I was slightly late to the party, but not by much as I was listening by the end of 1999. I hope you enjoy. If there is interest I do have more I can dig out and share thanks to a serendipitous home podcast setup which has left me with a number of shows in my archive.
