A minimap timelapse of a match in Age of Empires II (2013). I play against AI in a free for all on the MegaRandom map, with orange being one of the (harder) HD AI. Most of my early game focus was on capturing relics while going defensive, which involved three raids to destroy enemy churches (having to hit orange twice to get them all). Using the relic gold and some oppotunistic trade income, I funded a decisive battle against orange; buying stone for forward castles (protected by pikemen), which allowed me to slowly move into their base with trebs.
