12 Meters is often underutilized in some cases but long distance DX contacts are possible on 12M. Contesting is not allowed on 12M so it's a refuge from big weekend contests on neighboring 15 and 10M in my opinion. And with big gun contest stations out of the mix its a great place for low power stations (like mine) to be heard! So with that in mind I went onto 12M and propagation was open.
