Should I major in Actuarial Science?

Actuarial science is becoming more and more popular among math-loving students looking for ways to use their skills after college. It's a challenging major because it requires having fairly good math skills and you must really enjoy doing it. So, although I do encourage you to pursue a career as an actuary if it’s something you really want to do, I do not recommend that you major in actuarial science. In this video, I'll be going over the pros and the cons of pursuing an actuarial science major and what other majors you could pursue instead. I'll also be talking about getting a Master's degree in actuarial science and whether it's beneficial. Hopefully this makes your decision easier! Choosing a major boils down to where your interests lie, and it’s up to you to decide if pursuing an actuarial science major would be worth your time/effort!
