I'm one day post-op with the team here with Mark, Dr. Mendelsohn, and Tony who helped me complete my dream of getting a hair transplant. 00:19 - Additional Procedures I had a couple of other things done, including a lower blepharoplasty and CO2 laser to address sun damage, fine lines, and wrinkles. 00:57 - Hair Transplant Details As far as the hair transplant is concerned, I'm very happy with the way this is looking. We decided on 2000 grafts for me. The team works with you on how you want your hairline to look. 01:23 - Pain and Swelling Management I have no pain today, just a little bit of swelling which is normal. The donor graft area is covered with a band to hold it in place. 02:03 - Day 1 Post-Op Update This is my very first day post-op. I'll give you guys an update tomorrow. If you have any questions, just call the team and ask them. 02:19 - Day 2 Post-Op Update It's day two post-op. I'm just getting ready for work, wearing a button-up to avoid touching any grafts. Everything is looking really nice. 02:40 - Maintaining Grafts I'm remembering to stay upright and not touch any of the grafts to prevent them from falling out prematurely. 02:58 - Day 4 Post-Op Update Today is Sunday, day four post-op. I applied some Aquaphor underneath my eyes. As for the hair transplant, everything is looking really good. 03:01 - Pain Management I'm taking some Tylenol for slight discomfort in the donor area. Nothing up front, which is expected. 03:43 - Day 5 Post-Op Update Here I am on post-op day five, getting ready to leave for work. No issues to report, just taking Tylenol for the donor area discomfort. 04:44 - Day 7 Post-Op Update It's post-op day seven. Being very gentle to not dislodge the grafts. Looking forward to day ten, where I can let water hit it fully and gently massage the crusts out. 05:13 - Day 8 Post-Op Update Today is day number eight. This is how we're looking. On Saturday, I get to knock these crusts off and stand facing the shower. 05:35 - Day 9 Post-Op Update Post-op day nine, here is how we are looking. Ready for my wash and scab removal starting tomorrow on day ten.
