My first time attending Games Done Quick in person, and I'd say it went pretty well! Thank you so much to the GDQ Committee for having me and everyone who attended and watched me live. This was a super fun weekend to showcase this game, and for a good cause, too! Thank you to Threeballer for being my couch commentator, without whom, I wouldn't have been able to concentrate as much. Going into this run, I had no intention of performing a completely legitimate Pro/SA run. That had been tried before and no one has been successful. I would, of course, try to get SA on each level, but I wouldn't try and get a valid run. That's why I do things like use save states because the whole point was to show off neat tricks, glitches, and routes, and not about if I could do everything first try. I even told Threeballer on MoC that I actually didn't want Raymond to die to the mine. The plan was to actually get him in the street since that's more visually appealing than just an off-screen explosion. Same thing for Parchezzi. I told the committee that I will go for the normal method, and if I get him, whatever, I'll finish it out. But, if I don't get him (which is what I wanted), I would show off the goofy freecam snipe. All things considered, I'm really proud of how I performed! I didn't actually get to practice a ton because of the holidays, so I'm glad the worst rating I ever got was a Professional.
