I Forced Myself to Shoot Only 50mm

In this video I’m trying something different. Instead of bringing multiple lenses on a photo walk, I decided to limit myself to just one — the Canon RF 50mm f/1.8. A small, simple lens that many photographers own, but often overlook. Most of my photography is landscapes, farmland, coastal scenes and old buildings. Normally I would reach for a wide-angle lens to capture the entire scene, but this time I wanted to see what happens when I slow down and work within a single focal length. Using only 50mm forces me to move more, simplify compositions, and look for details instead of scale. It changes how I see familiar places and challenges me to think differently about light, shapes and atmosphere. This is not a tutorial — just part of my learning journey in photography and videography.
