In a shocking incident, a Pakistani official’s vehicle exploded on the outskirts of Quetta. Magnetic explosive device was attached to the officer’s vehicle, said the Police. CCTV footage revealed a motorbike passing closely just before the explosion: Officials said. The motorcyclist, reportedly, attached the explosive device to the driver’s side door, which blasted a few seconds later, thus killing the Pakistani official in the car. However, no official announcement has been made regarding the identity of the Officer. The area of Jabl-i-Noor was cordoned off by the security officers after the attack. Body to the officer moved to Combined Military Hospital in Quetta, Dawn reported. Initial investigation has revealed that it was a remote-controlled explosion. The blast was powerful enough to shatter the window panes of nearby shops and buildings. The deceased officer went to the Jabl-i-Noor graveyard to offer fateha at his late father’s grave. His vehicle was targeted while he was leaving the graveyard, said the Police Officials. Deceased officer belonged to the Muslim Bagh area of Pishin and was serving Pakistani army for 10 years.
