So what's it like to drive this one of a kind, best-of-all-generations, purpose-built on the most desirable Mark 1 Classic Mini Cooper S? If you've watched as I've built this, and endlessly improved it over YouTube's lifespan and then some, you may indeed wonder if such a beast can be managed on small town roads. Jump in and join me for a few minutes if you'd like to see what the classic Mini COULD have been, without it's little flip-up shoe-shine seats, spindly bus-like steering column, jelly-filled doughnut suspension, wheelbarrow wheels darting about, and general goofyness! Don't get me too wrong.... you've seen me resurrect plenty of 'goofyness', and I can enjoy a 948 Morris Minor with zero to sixty times of "maybe"... for a little while! You've also seen my race engines make 100 BHP per liter at the WHEELS, AND last all season, AND win championships. And you know I'm a long-time superbike owner and rider, so even the very best stock performance the factory ever managed.... gets a big yawn! Now this isn't a Jet-Motors type of drive where I terrorize neighborhoods and scare the bajeezus out of innocent pets! (There's a video in a parking lot for that!). But you get to ride in a Mini that runs and sounds like no other, and yet is completely civilized around our historic small town, where the roads are very much like the ones in small-town England and Wales. As I AM offering the car for sale, I also try to share what it's like to get in and out, point it around a parking lot, get on and off the freeway, and of course answer questions hurled at me all the time by the general public. You're probably one of the few to make it this far! Nobody has time to read any more!! Your level of interest justifies me giving you some details. The car includes many extras of interest to enthusiasts. Among them, the original 'hydro' front sub-frame, the original fully intact Mk1 Cooper S steering column, original seat brackets, all the door glass and new window-felt and seals, original date-coded wiper motor, extra set of drilled and slotted brake rotors, and lifetime tech support from the builder!! But for now... enjoy the ride. Next, we'll drive over a local mountain to our favorite lake...
