Driving to South Australia Through the Outback: Mungo National Park & South Coast NSW | Vanlife Vlog

As we are based in Sydney, in order to do our South Australia road trip in our van, we drove through the outback and south coast of NSW. As we were driving such long distances, we wanted to spice up the journey; we ensured that we visited some pretty awesome places along the way. On our way to SA, we drove through the NSW outback. We stopped off at Hay, about 8 hours from Sydney. The free camp there was right next to the beautiful Murrumbidgee river - perfect for a dip to cool off in the hot outback! Then, we detoured slightly to visit the incredible Mungo National Park. After hours of corrugated and dusty roads, we were rewarded with a landscape like no other. After four weeks in South Australia, we headed home along Victoria's Great Ocean Road. From there, we drove north into NSW, stopping off in the Sapphire Coast's beautiful Eden and at Congo Campground. We would have explored this area for so much longer, but needed to reach home before Christmas. But, stay tuned as we explore our beautiful home state! . . .
